New Federal Law Mandates All Indoor Hockey Rinks Must Switch from a Freon Gas to an Alternate Cooling Based System by 2023
East Side Youth Sports Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and owner and operator of the ESH Ice Arena in Detroit, has announced a fundraising initiative to assist in the costs associated with the rink’s transition from the current Freon based cooling system, to an Ammonia based system, to bring us up to 2020 code rules.
